Anchor House

If you need one roof for 14 people near Mount Pleasant in Devon, Anchor House is a house with 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Sleeping 14, it suits a few families together or a birthday group that wants one roof rather than two cottages. Expect to share bathrooms: 6 between 7 rooms, so agree a rota or stagger the mornings. Listed features: hot tub, games room, enclosed garden and ground-floor bedroom. The hot tub and games room are what most groups will book it for. The listing does not say whether celebrations are allowed. Ask the owner before you book if that is the plan. Prices start from £1,831 a week on the holidaycottages.co.uk page (checked 1 November 2026), which works out at about £131 per person for a full week at capacity. Ask whether the sleeps number includes sofa beds or bunks, and which rooms are doubles.
