Nettleslack

If you need one roof for 12 people in the Lake District, Nettleslack is a house with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Sleeping 12, it is the right size for a couple of families or a group of friends who want to eat together every night. Expect to share bathrooms: 3 between 6 rooms, so agree a rota or stagger the mornings. Listed features: swimming pool, games room and ground-floor bedroom. The swimming pool and games room are what most groups will book it for. The listing says no parties, hen or stag groups. Book it for a family or walking group, not a birthday blow-out. Prices start from £2,490 a week on the holidaycottages.co.uk page (checked 1 November 2026), which works out at about £208 per person for a full week at capacity. Ask whether the sleeps number includes sofa beds or bunks, and which rooms are doubles.
