Poorton Hill

Poorton Hill: a house in Dorset for groups of up to 15. Listed features: ground-floor bedroom. Bedrooms and bathrooms: 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Expect to share bathrooms: 6 between 8 rooms, so agree a rota or stagger the mornings. Prices start from £2,770 a week on the holidaycottages.co.uk page (checked 1 November 2026), which works out at about £185 per person for a full week at capacity. The listing says no parties, hen or stag groups. Book it for a family or walking group, not a birthday blow-out. Count the parking spaces against the number of cars, and ask whether the road in suits a minibus.
