Solway

If you need one roof for 10 people near Chester in Cheshire, Solway is a house with 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Sleeping 10, it is the right size for a couple of families or a group of friends who want to eat together every night. That is at least one bathroom per bedroom, which matters when fourteen people want a shower before dinner. Listed features: swimming pool, indoor pool, cinema room, enclosed garden and ground-floor bedroom. The swimming pool and indoor pool are what most groups will book it for. The listing says celebrations are welcome, but confirm the house rules on noise and numbers before you pay a deposit. Prices start from £3,420 a week on the holidaycottages.co.uk page (checked 1 November 2026), which works out at about £342 per person for a full week at capacity. Ask whether the sleeps number includes sofa beds or bunks, and which rooms are doubles.
