Yorkshire party house hire

There are 22 houses here, from 10 up to 20 people. Weekly prices start at £1,060 and the median is £1,848, as of 1 November 2026. Split £1,848 between 20 people and it is about £92 each for the week.

11 have a hot tub, 2 have a pool, 10 have a games room and 1 take dogs. They have 4 to 8 bedrooms. The sleeps figure can include sofa beds, so the bedroom count is the more useful number. Most are houses (14); the rest are farmhouses (4) and castles (2). 5 of the 22 say in their listing that celebrations are welcome. The others are silent on it, which is why the chip says "ask the owner".

Agree a budget per head before you look: a £3,000 week is £250 each for 12 but £150 each for 20. Hot tub and games room houses are listed first, then the biggest. We hold no availability. Each house links to its agency, where you check dates and book. We earn a commission on bookings made through those links, at no cost to you.

Booking a house for a party

Say it is a celebration when you enquire. Agencies that allow parties will ask how many people and what kind; the ones that do not will tell you straight away, which saves everyone time. Expect a security deposit of a few hundred pounds held against damage, and a quiet time after 10 or 11pm even in houses that welcome celebrations.

We only show houses whose listing does not ban parties. Where it says nothing either way, the card says "ask the owner"; do ask, before money changes hands.

Organiser's notes

Big houses in Yorkshire, the practical bits

  • Beds that are actually beds

"Sleeps 10" can include sofa beds. These houses have 4 to 8 bedrooms; the facts table on each house page shows bedrooms and bathrooms from the feed. 4 bedrooms for 10 means bunks, sofa beds or sharing.

  • Celebrations

5 of the 22 say celebrations are welcome in their listing, and 17 do not say either way: ask before you pay a deposit. A yes can still come with a 10pm quiet rule.

  • The weekly price

From prices run £1,060 to £5,452 a week in the feeds on 1 November 2026. Peak weeks cost more and weekends are usually priced separately on the agency page.
