Booking a house for a party

Say it is a celebration when you enquire. Agencies that allow parties will ask how many people and what kind; the ones that do not will tell you straight away, which saves everyone time. Expect a security deposit of a few hundred pounds held against damage, and a quiet time after 10 or 11pm even in houses that welcome celebrations.

We only show houses whose listing does not ban parties. Where it says nothing either way, the card says "ask the owner"; do ask, before money changes hands.

    "Sleeps 10" can include sofa beds. These houses have 3 to 12 bedrooms; the facts table on each house page shows bedrooms and bathrooms from the feed. 3 bedrooms for 10 means bunks, sofa beds or sharing.

  • Celebrations

    2 of the 57 say celebrations are welcome in their listing, and 55 do not say either way: ask before you pay a deposit. A yes can still come with a 10pm quiet rule.

  • The weekly price
